About the role
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll, including monthly reporting.
- Management of statutory third-party payments (Superannuation, PAYG, Long Service Leave).
- Maintenance and updating of employee data in HR and payroll systems.
- Completing month-end processes.
- Processing accounts payable.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).
- Maintaining internal systems and databases, including information collection and reporting.
- Performing general administrative tasks.
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in end-to-end payroll and bookkeeping.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of awards, superannuation, and long service leave.
- Advanced computer skills with proven knowledge and experience in MYOB.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, reliable, and capable of juggling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Current driver's licence
- Hold a cleared NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
- Hold a cleared Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Must be available to work Tuesday to Friday - 7.5 hours each day
