Our client is looking for a highly organised & reliable Admin &Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent part- time basis.

Our client is seeking a highly organised and reliable Administrative/Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent part- time basis (3O hours per week). This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in payroll and bookkeeping, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at meeting deadlines.

About the role
  • End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll, including monthly reporting.
  • Management of statutory third-party payments (Superannuation, PAYG, Long Service Leave).
  • Maintenance and updating of employee data in HR and payroll systems.
  • Completing month-end processes.
  • Processing accounts payable.
  • Reconciling bank accounts.
  • Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Maintaining internal systems and databases, including information collection and reporting.
  • Performing general administrative tasks.

Essential criteria
  • Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in end-to-end payroll and bookkeeping.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of awards, superannuation, and long service leave.
  • Advanced computer skills with proven knowledge and experience in MYOB.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and capable of juggling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Current driver's licence
  • Hold a cleared NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Hold a cleared Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Must be available to work Tuesday to Friday - 7.5 hours each day
