Inventory Controller

As one of the leading experts in the design, manufacture and supply of cutting-edge ventilation systems to across the globe, this Australian business has worked closely with many global enterprises across all sectors of heavy industry.

To ensure they meet current industry demand they are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller. The position is based in their Hunter Valley workshop and calls for a self motivated individual looking for a full time position. 

As the successful candidate, you will have a number of key accountabilities including:

  • Scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning
  • Liaise with key stakeholders (Stores, Purchasing, Logistics, Suppliers etc)
  • Prepare stock reports in accordance project time constraints
  • Ensure adequate stock is at hand to meet daily operational requirements
  • Take responsibility over the purchasing process and ensure all required approvals are obtained.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates that display the following skills and experience:

  • Experience within a similar stores position
  • Strong Interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Computer skills (MS Office, SAP)
  • Understanding of inventory management systems and practices
