Maintenance Fitter

The Client
Due to unprecedented growth, our client has a new position of Maintenance Fitter available. They are an industry leader in the FMCG industry providing high quality food products to some of Australia's most recognised brands.

The Candidate

To be the successful for this role, you will have:

• The ability to trouble shoot and propose solutions to all mechanical issues
• Sound written and verbal communication skills + good numeracy skills
• Good customer relationship building skills
• Advanced milling, lathing & machining skills + Basic welding skills
• Manufacturing environment exposure in fault finding
• Experience designing and fault finding on pneumatic and hydraulic systems

With trade certificates in fitting and turning essential, a good attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment, we would like to discuss this role further with you.

The Position

• Manage maintenance activity during factory shutdowns
• Willing to work outside normal working hours - responding to call outs as required
• Fault finding, breakdown events
• Perform regular preventative maintenance activities
• Experience on Spiral Freezing Machinery & Conveyor Systems desirable not essential
