Technical Sales Consultant / Civil Infrastructure

The product range and expertise in the business effectively covers vast areas of application including: drainage and filtration, separation and reinforcement, road maintenance and rehabilitation, waste’s containment, liner protection and erosion protection.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong business relationships with an established customer base, providing technical assistance to clients and the development and implementation of sales growth plans. You will provide solutions to customers through effective product support, building and maintaining relationships with clients, enacting sales strategies of the branch and assisting in the growth of an established brand with a keen eye to develop new opportunity.

The role responsibilities include:
- Technical support and sales where you will promote; market and sell all products as per the company's marketing and sales policy and manage a client base of consultants and contractors.
- To develop and maintain a strong business relationship with existing customers; and provide high levels of customer service and support.
- To actively source new business through the tender process and within the market place. 
- Develop specifications with clients.
- Actively provide solutions for the road construction, landfills, and coastal projects, and require extensive interaction with consulting engineers, civil contractors and state and local government.
- Develop specifications with clients.
- Liaise with local council

About you:
Preferably with a Civil engineer background, you will have a track record of success in technical sales in the building / construction / civil and infrastructure markets. You will demonstrate: a “hands on” approach, being proactive and results focused, a strong customer service ethic, being organised, having strong communication and interpersonal skills, being commercially savvy, and able to work autonomously, yet in a larger team environment.
