Sales Engineer/ Manager

Chandler Macleod is seeking an Experienced Sales Engineer/Manager for an Emerald based Company which provides engineering and key product support services to a mix of customers in steel, coal mining and metal mining, fertilizer, heavy materials handling, chemical, general engineering and water treatment process industries.

The Group provides items from the smallest bolt or ‘O’ ring to engineered packages for underground Longwall systems.

You will be responsible for:

• Building and Maintaining Profitable Relationships with Targeted Prospective Clients
• Introducing the Products of the Company to Prospect Customers
• Providing Sales Support to the Company in Opening Doors and Creating Senior Level Partnerships.
• Strategic Planning, Reporting and Forecasting
• Drafting Effective Proposals and Tender Documents
• Providing Powerful Support at Senior Level Client Meetings
• Obtaining, Disseminating and Recording Relevant Market and Industry Information
• Liaising closely with the Team, with External Consultants and Contractors

The Successful applicant will possess:

• Proven Sales and Engineering Experience
• Knowledge and Experience in Mining or Oil/Gas Sectors
• A Strong, In-Depth Knowledge of Sales Cycles and Sales Strategies
• Proven Record in Making High-Value Sales to Mining, Manufacturing, Oil/Gas Companies or Government
• Passionate about Winning and Developing new Business
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and the Ability to Build Strong Relationships

The Successful Applicant will reside in Mackay, Rockhampton or Emerald Regions.
