Crop Protection - Territory Manager
Our client is a global manufacturer of agricultural chemicals, with strong growth in the Australian market. They are looking for a territory manager to join their national sales team and drive growth in Northern NSW and Southern QLD. They are a fantastic company with a great culture who look after their employees. The candidate can be based anywhere in North East NSW or South East QLD, as long as you are able to service the territory.
This role will be working closely with both rural merchants and end users and therefore will need strong presentation and communication skills. A background in and understanding of the agricultural market in Australia will make it a lot easier to build relationships with rural merchants, farmers and other industry stakeholders.
The products will be used in both the horticultural and broad acre markets, so an understanding of these fields will be looked upon favourably. Although the sales aspect of the role is of great importance, it is also essential that applicants have a strong understanding of the technical side of the position, tertiary qualifications in rural/ag science and a clear idea of the uses and applications of fungicides, pesticides and insecticides will help make the transition into the role more smooth.
