CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions of entry. Submission of an entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are ineligible.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents who fulfil the entry requirements only. Employees of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. To qualify for entry, the participant must register with Chandler Macleod Group for temporary or contract jobs with NSW government online at http://rightstart.chandlermacleod.com and be accepted by Chandler Macleod Group as a registered temp or contractor.
3. Only one entry is permitted per person. An entrant may be prohibited from participating in this promotion if, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other entrants, the Promoter or participating retailers and their associated agencies.
4. If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian. Personal identification may be required to claim a prize.
5. The promotion commences at 12.01am AEST on 4 May 2009 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 31 July 2009. Registrations not received by that date or not completed in accordance with these conditions will not be eligible to win. No responsibility will be accepted for incomplete or illegible registration entries. The prize draw will take place at Level 12, 2 Park St, Sydney at 4.00pm on 5 August 2009. The winner will be notified by mail and the name of the winner of a prize valued at over AUD$100.00 will be published in The Australian on 14 August 2009. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The valid entry drawn will win an Acer 8.9” Netbook. The total prize value is AUD$617.00. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be taken as cash. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to accept and enjoy the prize as stated. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes being lost or damaged in transit.
7. The Promoter and its associated agencies are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect and consequential losses), suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the receipt and use of a prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, any participating retailers and their agencies or any person associated with any of them, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted as intended, whether because of computer virus, phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Promoter that in Promoter’s opinion affects the competition’s administration, security, fairness, or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities, as may be required.
9. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
10. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 12 August 2009 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date.
11. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants’ names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
12. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the Entrant, each Entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the Entrant. All personal details of the Entrants provided by entering the promotion will be stored at the office of the Promoter.
