Poultry Farm hand

Did you grow up on a farm or do you enjoy working outdoors? This may be the perfect job for you!

We are currently looking for reliable poultry farm hands to work on a poultry farm in Purga/Yamanto area.
You need to have your own transport, be flexible with your time and able to work weekends.
This is a physically demanding role and a good level of fitness is required for this manual "hand's on" role.


The duties required for this position are:
- egg collecting and packing
- cleaning out pens
- moving roosters and chickens around
- general labouring duties, as required
- trained in administering vaccinations & eyedrops to birds

As you could imagine, the work is not glamorous - you need to be comfortable working with live active chickens, at times in a shed with minimal light and also have an ability to cope with hot temperatures in summer.

Unfortunately due to quarantine restrictions, all applicants must not have any poultry, bird or pig livestock at their residence.
