Purchasing Officer

Chandler Macleod Supply Chain & Procurement are on the lookout for an Entry Level Purchasing Officer/Expeditor based south of Perth around the Kwinana and Rockingham area.

This is a temporary assignment for one month at this stage; however, there may be a possibility to extend for a longer period of time.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

• Expediting activities and meeting the delivery of goods inline with purchase order
• Placement of overseas orders
• Liaising with Customs and Freight Forwarder for overseas orders
• Attempt to resolve issues and problems with customer’s accounts
• Monitor Supplier performance
• Investigate and process invoice mismatches

You must be available to start immediately for this position on a temporary basis.
