Plant Manager

Our client, Australia’s largest marketer of LPG, boasting over 40 service centres around the country to ensure the rapid supply and reliable delivery in virtually every area, have an outstanding position available for a Plant Manager (SA/NT).

Conveniently located in Para Hills, South Australia and reporting into the Retail Operations Manager (SA/NT) and working closely with the Customer Services Manager (SA), you will be responsible for the management of a small operational team including cylinder fillers, re-testers and delivery crew. Some of the key requirements for the role are:

• Manage depot expenditure within set operational areas
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Manage gas movements within the depots to meet schedule
• Train, mentor and motivate staff using the ‘Awards for Excellence’ program
• Deliver detailed reports, providing senior management with an up-to-date picture of the hands on operational environment (budget/safety/compliance etc)
• Possible interstate (NT) and regional travel
