We are working closely with a large contractor that specialises in the supply, maintenance and construction of industrial sized conveyor belts to the national mining industry. They have recently won a large contract on a high profile project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

As a Supervisor, you’ll provide technical input and daily supervision to an experienced team of Belt Splicers. Your team will be responsible for belt splicing, repairs and installation of steed cord, fabric, solid woven and ply belts.

It is essential that you have industrial or mining experience and up to date knowledge of conveyors and belts. You’ll manage a large team of technicians therefore strong people management and leadership skills are a must.

This is your chance to gain exposure to the lucrative mining industry without having to relocate to Western Australia. Our client is urgently looking for a team of expert splicers and will FIFO from anywhere in Australia and New Zealand.

This is initially a contract position although, if you are interested, there are a variety of permanent opportunities available all over Australia.
