We are currently accepting applications for the role of Service Supervisor, to further support the Operations Manager in coordinating all field service activities and tasks during machine assemblies. Whilst there are a number of key accountabilities in the position, the following highlights those most pertinent to success in this role: • Develop, maintain and apply a suitably high level of product and service knowledge whilst being converse in technical and market developments • Effectively manage and coordinate the various resources required for regular assemblies and overhauls • Coach, develop and mentor the services team to ensure they are receiving ample support to be successful in their roles • Provide justification for any non-compliance and ‘overruns’ and put in place a plan for managing the side effects and client expectations. • Actively contributing to the company’s overall safety objective whilst educating others on the importance of OH&S To be considered for this role, the minimum requirements are as follows: • A trade qualified HD Fitter, High Voltage Electrician, Motor Mechanic or equivalent • A comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems • A proven work history in leading crews or managing teams • A competent understanding open cut mining practices • The ability to plan and successfully deliver on key jobs and contracts To accompany this knowledge and experience, we are also looking to attract interest from individuals that display the following attributes: • An inherent drive to consistently achieve the best results and lead by example • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently liaise with key stakeholders • A passion for developing best practices and contributing to progressive improvement • Highly developed leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others • A genuine sense of team spirit and strong cultural values If you are interested in finding out more, please call Nikki Mlinarevic on (02) 4978 7702 or similarly, ‘apply now’ and I’ll be in contact following the acceptance of your application.
