Belt Splicer

Our client has an immediate need for experienced Belt Splicers for ongoing work in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder region.

Reporting to the service supervisor, responsibilities will include; belt splicing (fabric & steel cord), the fitting and maintenance of conveyor belt cleaners, trackers and associated products as well as general conveyor maintenance.

The ideal applicant will be seeking to make an immediate impact. Further, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Demonstrable and hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of belts and conveyors
• A strong commitment to work health and safety.
• Ability to pass a GSDU screen
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
• Valid “C” Class licence
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

These are permanent positions and an immediate start is on offer, along with a great hourly rate, plus penalties and an attractive roster with plenty of overtime.

These roles are currently residentially based to Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
