Senior Malware Defence Analyst

Our client is one of the largest IT and consulting company in the world and they are currently looking for Senior Malware Defence Analyst to join their Anti-Virus Management team which has the responsibility to ensure that Anti-Virus infrastructure is kept up to date with definitions and software and also troubleshoots and deals with issues encountered around Anti-Virus product/management.

The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
• Being the lead focal point for A/V related activities
• Lead in the refresh of Anti-virus infrastructure activities and coordinate tasks as required via project management
• Develop and implement test cases.
• Configure Anti-Virus application
• Create required process and procedure documentation
• Assist in troubleshooting errors with the Anti-Virus product
• Assist in the remediation of customer virus incidents
• Adhere to audit compliance strategies to ensure security and business processes are part of BAU activities

It is envisioned that the successful applicant would possess the following skillset:
• Must have McAfee ePO 4.x skills at an enterprise level
• Ability to apply Anti-Virus solutions/policy configurations at enterprise level
• Good understanding of security postures/policies and security terminologies
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with Anti-Virus product
• Ability to troubleshoot and triage Anti-Virus events/incidents
• Experience in dealing with vendor and third party suppliers
• Possess a high degree of analytical ability and creativity in resolving 1st and 2nd level Security problems
