Project Manager - Transition

Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to manage projects within the IM Integration program. The IM Integration program is a program of work set up to integrate a recent acquisition into their IM structure. The goal is the complete integration of IM systems, performing transformation where appropriate within the timeframes.

The Transition Project Manager will report to the IM Integration Program Manager. The Transition Manager will focus on a significant transition within the program such as a specific site transition, or other significant program outcome. The activities required to meet this outcome will be distributed across multiple projects within the program, requiring strong people skills and stakeholder management skills, as well as project management capability.

The person/s that will do this role has the following attributes/skills:

• Tertiary qualification in either IT or Information Management disciplines, or significant experience;
• >10 years experience in management roles, preferably in large organisations, or working on large, complex projects;
• High Drive to achieve outcomes;
• High Business focus;
• Strong coordination skills;
• General Application and Infrastructure knowledge and understanding
• Expertise in planning and dependency management;
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders at various levels in the organisation and outside the organisation
• Experience in management of resources from multiple organisations
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Pro-active self-starter - highly self motivated and directed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment.
• Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
• Previous experience working on large infrastructure transitions or domain migrations would be an advantage
• Candidates with the ability to start immediately will be given strong preference
