Messaging Infrastructure Specialist

A Messaging specialist is required for a technical role assisting in the solution construction, implementation and system integration of a total messaging environment.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality solutions to meet complex business requirements including providing technical advice to project managers, team leaders and technical direction to team members. You may also be called upon to assist in the design and development of the tools and methodologies used to manage analyse, design and implement technical solutions. This role will require liaising with both in internal and external stakeholders and will therefore require someone who is confident in their ability to deal with senior managers and project members.

Duties:

• Documenting technical solutions and proposals
• Performing assignments to develop and implement new ideas and concepts that lead to new practices, procedures and processes
• Creating statements of work
• Provide cost and effort estimations for messaging services
• Perform Technical solution review and risk assessment
• Provide and demonstrate leadership skills to manage situations, ensuring customer focus and that processes/procedures are followed
• Keep appraised of forthcoming industry developments that may impact or benefit the business

 

Experience:

• High degree of analytical ability and creativity to solve complex problems
• Proven experience in managing projects in an end-2-end capacity
• Has experience in designs solutions with new advanced technologies
• Has proven ability to deliver quality solutions
• Ability to manage budgets

This role will also require some level of irregular working hours and travel as and when necessary.
