Business Development Manager - Consulting

The Chandler Macleod Group is an ASX listed human resource organisation which was founded over 40 years ago, developing a firm reputation as a leading psychometric assessment and organisational development consulting provider.  Our portfolio quickly grew to include two other specialist streams which span Recruitment and Workforce Management, positioning us as Australia’s leading end to end workforce advisory service.

Our vacancy resides in Chandler Macleod’s Consulting business which excels in the provision of customised assessment and organisational development consulting. We see our depth of knowledge and expertise as a market differentiator which equips us to us consult and advise using knowledge gained through our considerable track record in solution design and national project delivery.

The Role:
This opportunity has arisen as a consequence of an internal promotion within Consulting, leaving an established position which requires the new incumbent to sustain and forge new relationships with senior HR and C-Suite stakeholders.  Business development will be the primary focus for this role, with a view to brokering new relationships, identifying assessment and HR consulting opportunities and working in conjunction with organisational psychologists to provide appropriate client solutions.

Essential criteria:
• Experience driving successful business development activity across various market sectors
• Experience building ethical, sustainable, long term relationships with HR practitioners and C-Suite Executives
• Ability to partner with internal stakeholders
• Motivated, autonomous self starter who is capable of owning this role
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired:
• Experience with psychometric assessment products
• Human resource, recruitment or professional services background
• Tertiary education (ideally Business or HR related)
