Recruitment Consultant

Workforce Services,the industrial recruitment specialists of Chandler Macleod, is a major provider of staffing and recruitment services to the mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.

As the sector grows, continued and sustained success within our Mining & Energy Recruitment Division has lead to the creation of a centralised recruitment team to handle all labour hires within the Mining industry. We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant within this team in our Emerald QLD Office. 

Core job responsibilities include: 

• Full control of temporary and permanent placements for blue-collar clients
• Responsibility for achieving set KPI’s and financial targets
• Client and candidate liaison
• Business Development within set areas
• Advertising, sourcing and interviewing candidates
• Matching and placing candidates in roles
• Conducting reference checks

 To be successful for this role you will be required to have the following:

• Previous Recruitment experience ideally
• Strong customer service, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work well autonomously
• Demonstrable ability to meet targets, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills
• Microsoft Office Skills
