Chandler Macleod is now looking for a Safety Conscious, Process Driven and enthusiastic Injury Management Coordinator to join the team in providing an outstanding Injury Management assistance.Reporting directly to the Injury Manager (NSW/ACT) ,this exciting new opportunity for an Injury Management Coordinator to be based in Rockdale .The key focus of this position is to ensure that all employees injured at work are rehabilitated according to Work, Health & Safety Legislative requirements and best practice Injury Management. This role will see you:
- Establishing contact with injured employees and coordinating the claim management
- Supporting Operations and Injury Manager in achieving successful return to work outcomes
- Develop and Monitor return to work plans with all key stakeholders
- Effective Stakeholder management internally
- Communicate & liaise effectively with insurer on claims management strategies
- Day to Day management of the systems and administration duties including insuring claims paperwork is completed and lodged inline with the State legislation.
- Liaising with medical practitioners and attending appointments when required.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Driver’s License – essential
- 2+ years experience in Workers Compensation and/or injury management
- Strong Microsoft Office and Administrative experience
- Ability to understand Legislation
- Policy, Process and procedure driven
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to clearly communicate
- We are seeking an individual who can work autonomously, to tight deadlines and who has the ability to prioritise workloads
- You will also be required to do travel between sites and appointments as and when required.
