Role
To deliver strategic human resource initiatives and effectively manage the provision of human resource services to multiple business units. Participate as a member of the site’s management team and assist in the delivery of business objectives as required by the corporate business plan.
Responsibilities
Provide expert advice, coaching and direction to senior management, line managers and supervisors on industrial relations and human resources matters.
Lead discussion and negotiation with unions in matters of enterprise agreement bargaining, and manage industrial harmony through effective negotiation and dispute resolutions.
Identify, maintain and a network of external experts to provide advice and information on trends and innovations in industrial relations and human resources.
Maintain and manage recruitment, workforce planning and training and development for the site.
Manage broader strategic human resource programmes such as employee satisfaction surveys, performance management and leadership development.
Develop and implement human resource policy and procedure.
You
To be successful in this role you will possess sound knowledge of relevant legislation, a high level of investigative and analytical skills, the ability to develop and foster productive working relationships, counsel and support colleagues. In addition, you will have relevant practical experience.
