Operations Manager

They represent technologically advanced and well-respected brands in the industry, as well as aftersales maintenance and performance products from the world’s leading brands.
They provide unparalleled aftersales service and support through a network of 21 strategically located branches. Their factory-trained technicians offer 24/7 Australia-wide service, as part of the best support network in the country.
At present, they are seeking an Operations Manager for their Mackay depot to control and direct the After Sales Department to ensure that efficiencies in the operation are achieved and monitored, quality work is produced and customer needs are satisfied.
Your Objectives:
- Develop the After Sales Team in order to enhance the personal development of employees
- Manage WIP to company targets (SRO Quantity, age, warranty) to improve cash flow of the business
- Achieve annual budget plans
- Develop and enhance Customer relationships
- Ensure continued profitability of the Department
- Ensure WH&S, Quality and Environment policies and practices are adhered to
- Ensure timely reports are prepared and submitted, including monthly reporting to the Branch Manager
- Ensure company plan and schedules are met for cyclic and annual stocktakes
Your Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Management, Business or related field or equivalent Management experience in an industrial environment
- Diesel / Mechanical Fitter Trade
Your Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience of at least 5 years in an Industrial / Service environment
- Mechanical / Diesel / Engine background essential
- Leadership skills – experience in successfully managing, developing and motivating a workforce
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate the After Sales Team
- Demonstrated skills in managing customer relationships
- Experience in managing Budgets (Capital & Revenue)
