Branch Manager - Geotechnical Engineering Firm
Our client has an opportunity for a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join their Darwin branch in the position of Branch Manager. The role will have an emphasis on fieldwork combined with project tender preparation analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage projects from start to finish within budget and on time
*Produce clear and concise written technical reports
*Conduct in-depth engineering analysis/calculations
*Attend site visits and provide onsite recommendation
*Lead and mentor junior team members of the team
Selection Criteria:
*Degree level qualification in the field of geotechnical/civil/environmental engineering or similar;
*5-8 years proven experience with a strong background in the field of geotechnical engineering
*Ability to multi-task and work over a broad spectrum of earth science related consultancy fields
*Manual drivers licence
*Be familiar with relevant Australia Standards and construction material testing
*Previous experience in the consultancy industry
