An immediate need for an experience Mechanical Design Drafter is now available at one of the Central Coast’s & Australia’s leading materials handling equipment manufactures.

Specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of high tech materials handling equipment to major mining and heavy industrial clients throughout Australia, our client now needs the services of a dedicated design drafter to join their head office operations to continue to deliver expert knowledge and outcomes to their clients.

You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for

• Conceptual and detailed design/development of new and existing products
• Improve the design, manufacture and installation of materials handling products
• Provide input into design reviews
• Offer support and expert knowledge to customers and sales divisions when required

You will have a strong mechanical drafting background, preferably within the mining/heavy industrial and materials handling sectors.. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks 3D modelling packages are essential
