Chandler Macleod Aviation – Queensland, is seeking general expressions of interest from qualified Licensed Avionics or Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineers/Technicians, Tradespeople and Maintenance Support Personnel.

The Queensland Aviation office – lead by a dedicated Aviation Sector Specialist - is focused on complete workforce solutions to the Aviation Sector. Chandler Macleod Aviation has a specialist understanding of global aviation skills, qualifications and regulatory requirements.

Chandler Macleod Aviation has more than 13 years experience of providing workforce solutions to meet the ever-changing challenges in the aviation industry.
Requirements include Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical, Avionics and Structures), Aircraft Furnishing (Trimmer), Aircraft Finishing (Spray Painter), Composites Repair Specialist (Structures Trade), Non-Destructive Testing, Machinist and Maintenance Support.
For Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer roles you must;
-Mechanical - or CAO100.66 Maintenance Authority B1 with one or a combination of type ratings.
-Avionics - Hold a valid CASA Licence Electrical/Instrument/Radio Category or CAO100.66 Maintenance Authority B2 with one or a combination of type ratings.
For Trade Jobs;
-Have completed recognised training and hold formal Trade Qualifications, Tradesman’s Rights or Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (ARTC) in an aviation engineering maintenance, component overhaul or manufacturing field
For Non-Trade Jobs;
- Experience working in an engineering environment will be highly regarded
- Be an Australian Resident with eligibility to hold an Australian Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC)
For Overseas candidates you must hold a valid ICAO Type II Licence issued by a recognised National Airworthiness Authority (NAA) that is either;
- Type rated supported by current company approvals for “Full Release to Service” certification which have been held at least 6 months
- Non type rated supported by current company approvals for “Full Release to Service” certification which have been held at least 6 months.
EASA Licence holders may be eligible for CASA Licence Technical Assessment (LTA) processes minimising Licence conversion requirements
