Company Accountant

Due to growth, our client is seeking a focused Accountant who is flexible in their approach and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be groomed to take on a variety of tasks and eventually have ownership of the process. In conjunction with the corporate finance team you will undertake and maintain all accounting and financial reporting functions in accordance with accounting standards. Initially you will focus on management accounting activities, having strong involvement in month-end, process improvements and cost saving initiatives. You will then be given the opportunity to work on financial accounting tasks to have the holistic view of the corporate finance function. Travel to the interstate offices will also be required from time to time.

You will be degree qualified and working towards your CPA/CA. Proven experience working in a high performing accounting function, across both management accounting and financial accounting tasks is essential. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required for liaising with different areas of the business. Being technologically savvy and possessing advanced excel skills is paramount, along with the ambition to take the role to the next level.
