Senior Process Engineer / Oil and Gas / Chemical Engineer

Utilise your Process Engineering skills within the Oil Industry and gain experience with one of Australia’s major Oil and Fuel Merchant/retailer.

This organisation is one of Australia’s leading providers regarding the supply, refining, logistics and marketing of Fuel related products. Their client base spans across Australia and reaches into our daily lives. This listed ASX Company has been operating for over 80 years, employs over 4,000 people throughout Australia and are now looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their Brisbane Bay side Refining Engineering Project team for a Contract Role.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Project Manager you will be responsible for working within a multitude of areas simultaneously and will be heavily involved in providing effective and competent detailed process designs and troubleshooting. You will also be accountable for ensuring the delivery of specifications and technical assessments for new and existing projects.

To be successful in this role:
• Qualified Chemical Engineering Degree with chartered status
• Demonstrated 5 - 10 years of Design Process experience with in the Oil industry and have a strong understanding of hydrocarbons plant and equipment.
• Experience in Hysys simulations, PSV Review and calculations plus P & ID development and review
• Capability to develop Process Safety Cases including trip and protection logic for process and plant equipment
• Knowledge of conducting risk reviews and being able to conduct economic assessments of projects would be highly advantageous
