Capital Accountant

Working for one of the leaders in healthcare you will be a part of a dynamic and supportive team environment. Due to the re-development of existing sites our client is seeking an experienced Capital Accountant to work closely with the Finance Manager and Project Manager to provide project support and be a key member in the team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Undertake budgetary review and planning of current Projects
• Preparation of management accounts and reporting packs for capital expenditure, balance sheet, depreciation and project cash flows
• Working closely with the Finance Manager and Project Manager to ensure accurate reporting
• Review and explain exceptional variances on capital items
• Assist in the roll out of new systems and procedures
• Present complex data information and reporting in a clear and concise written and verbal format to the Board and team of Executives
• To ensure that creation of asset records and settlement of project costs through capitalisation is to the required standards

To be successful for this role you will possess;

• Experience in a similar role
• Ideally a background in projects, health or construction
• Advanced Excel and Oracle skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Keep up to date with current accounting standards
