Company Accountant - $40 - $45 per hour + Super

The Company

This Australian company has been operating for over fifteen years and has experienced steady growth due to its exceptional level of service and high quality products. With a large customer base, they manufacture and supply a wide range of products to both the private and public sector. They are currently seeking a Company Accountant to join their finance team based in the western suburbs on a temp to perm basis.

The Role
In line with the strategic business direction and continued growth a new opportunity exists for a Company Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this varied role will involve both Management and Financial Accounting. Your role will be focused on cost and inventory analysis, preparing weekly and monthly management reports and reviewing sales margins and budget variances. You will also be required to analyse financial information, prepare and file statutory and CAPEX reports and liaise with the tax accountant to coordinate the reconciliation of tax accounts and the submission of tax returns.

Your Profile

You will ideally be CA/CPA qualified, and have reasonable experience as a Management Accountant within the manufacturing/distribution sector. You have exceptional communications skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels of business.
