Overview

Giving presentations is a fact of life today. The difference between an average or below average presentation and a great presentation can mean the difference between getting buy-in, making a sale, motivating change or acceptance of sales figures.

Being able to structure and deliver great presentations is critical for both participants’ professional success – and the company’s success.

The Presenting with Presence course will examine what makes a presentation effective, and will help participants to prepare for speeches, and present to different audiences.

This one day course is suitable for those who:

  • regularly use and rely upon their presentation skills in their career
  • want greater confidence in the creation of engaging slide presentations
  • wish to learn to handle interactions with different audiences effectively

Program Components

  • This program has three key focus areas, the first about the all important and confidence boosting preparation and planning for a presentation, the second about growing the presenting capability of the presenter and the third, building on the first two, around audience inclusion and activity and developing capability around reading the “mood” of the audience and subsequently adapting to it.
  • Participants will be required to make a brief presentation (prior preparation is required) which will be supported through group and individual exercises with reflection and learning enhanced through video recording of presentation

Course Fees

The fee for this one day program including all materials, lunch, morning and afternoon tea is $495 + GST per person. Group discounts are available upon request.
