Overview
Interviews are a critical opportunity to demonstrate experience, personal attributes, strengths, personality and the ability to communicate and deal with pressure. No matter what other evidence or records your interviewer has of your past successes, the time spent in an interview is crucial time in which lasting impressions are made.
There are a number of interview types being used by companies and recruitment firms and it can be difficult to anticipate what interview format to expect, the associated questions and answers, and what approach you need to take. Amongst these techniques includes behavioural interviewing which is utilised by a large amount of employers to ascertain objective, evidence-based examples of competency. It is vital to the success of the interview that candidates are well prepared for any of these types of questions and scenarios.
This course addresses those factors that consciously and unconsciously affect the opinions that others form of us in an interview setting. The ‘Three ‘C’s’ of interviewing considered the most important factors that the employer is trying to judge in an interview viewpoint and this courses address how best to present yourself in line with each of the factors.
